<!-- // authors -->A long-established Lusk business, McNally Joinery, has been awarded an energy certificate for their A, B and C rated windows.
Presenting the award, Minister for Food and Horticulture Trevor Sargent said: 'Energy conservation is good for business, good for the planet and saves customers money. I congratulate McNally's for their achievements over the years and in particular getting this award.'
From January 1st, all new or existing buildings for sale or rent require a Building Energy Rating (BER) assessment.
This EU directive is to promote energy savings. These newly certified windows are manufactured with highly efficient double-glazing and seals to give low U values. McNally Joinery has been in operation for over 30 years in Walshestown, Lusk, and supply internal and external joinery for both commercial and private clients.
